Halloween Events for Families in Mississauga

There are so many fun events happening around Mississauga this month to celebrate Halloween. Here at momstown Mississauga we wanted to share our favourite events in the city and let you know where you can find our moms and kids celebrating! 

momstown Mississauga's Halloween Haunt October 30th 10am -12pm

Lots of Halloween crafts, costume contest, fun preschool and toddler activities like pumpkin bowling, pin the nose on the Jack 'o Lantern, a Parachute & Circle Time, a pot-luck buffet of Halloween treats and gymnastics fun from The Little Gym - East Mississauga - there will be fun for everyone! 

The Trick or Treat Festival October 26 10am - 4pm

The Mississauga Mompreneurs has organized a Trick or Treat Festival at the Living Arts Centre in Mississauga. 

The Trick or Treat Festival is an Event where you can bring your family including your kids to play, shop, and connect with local Mississauga and Area Businesses. This Festival will feature kids in Costumes and Candy of course! FREE ADMISSION with Donation to Eden Food Bank

Clarkson Village Halloween Fun Fest October 26th 10 am - 2pm 

Trick or Treat through Clarkson Village. Colouring contest, Bouncies, magician and more!  Bring a non-perishable food item donation to Lakeshore and Clarkson Rd North. 

Historic Halloween Fun at Benares Museum October 27th 12pm - 4pm

Benares Museum is hosting a Halloween Event. Cost is $15/family. Reptilia shows, live music and entertainment, face painting, children’s crafts, games, tours of the historic house & more! The first 250 kids in costume will receive a loot bag!

Fisher Price Little People Playdate at Baby Basics

momstown Mississauga moms with babies 12 months and under meet weekly at the Taima Zone for our Baby Basics group. There are art projects, interesting speakers, and throughout the year we have fun sponsored events like our recent Fisher Price sponsored Little People® Playdate!

We had Four Different Little People Toys for our Kids to test. The Little People Fun Sounds Farm®, The Little People Happy Sounds Home®, The Little People Wheelies Loops 'n Swoops Amusement Park® and the Little People Disney Princess Klip Klop Stable®.

Boys and girls both loved the The Little People Wheelies Loops 'n Swoops Amusement Park®.  The variety of cars, bright colours and fun action kept them intrigued from baby to 5 yr old! 

The kids had so much fun playing with the animals and listening to the sounds of the The Little People Fun Sounds Farm®.  Our doll lovers were engaged with the The Little People Happy Sounds Home® as the doorbell rings, the bathtub bubbles and the washing machine swishes.  

Over at the  Little People Disney Princess Klip Klop Stable® our princess fans were enthralled with the horses (and Aurora & Rapunzel ) two Royal princesses who with a klippity clop rode their horses down and around the ramp.

Picassos Painting, Park Potluck Picnic and Juice from Tropicana Tropics

momstown Mississauga moms and kids will be meeting on July 25th for an extra special Summer Picassos in the Park! There will be messy fun painting a mural, and cool tropical crafts. We'll have a "potluck" picnic and play with our parachute! If the day is hot we can cool off at the splash pad at Huron Park.

Pack a picnic and bring along a small treat to share at the 'potluck'. During the event we'll have juice for all to try from Tropicana Tropics. Tropics (From Tropicana) wants to take momstown on an exotic journey this summer with a refreshing taste of paradise! 

Expect some messy hands from our Picassos Mural

Dress in your best tropical colours, or island inspired outfit - there will be giveaways for the, most tropical outfit and the most colourful outfit!  

 

Not a momstown Mississauga member? No problem! This event is open to the public- some come and try out or signature momstown summer Art & Play activity Picassos in the Park at Huron Park!

Family Day Kids Fest in Toronto - Mississauga

Looking for something to do this  Family Day Long weekend in the GTA? Check out Toronto's Kids Fest. It is an inflatable show at the International Centre with over 30 'inflatable rides' and tons of kids entertainment. There are vendors with kids items, services and more!

You can stop by momstown Mississauga's booth and do a make and take craft with us, or enter to win a free 1yr subscription to momstown in either Brampton, Toronto or Mississauga (depending on where you live)!
