momstown Mississauga's Easy and Educational DIY Crafts For Halloween!

We made this easy and fun B is for Bat Craft at momstown Mississauga's Tales for Tots.  We hold our book club for kids every month at Chapters, and this month we combined wtih our Alphabet Play program.

To make this simple craft, fold a sheet of Black construction paper into 4 and cut out the letter B. Cut  circles for the bat heads and triangle ears.  Glue 2 Bat wings (letter Bs) side by side on the paper, add a circle for the head, bat ears and finish off with googly eyes! Simple and Easy bat craft, and what a fun way to  introduce the Alphabet into a seasonal craft.

This next craft was from momstown Mississauga's Teddy Bear Picnic this month. We got simple foam Teddy Bear Shapes from the Dollar Store and dressed them up for Halloween! Add a popsicle stick and we had Teddy Bear Puppets for a fun puppet show!

Depending on your child's age you can let them do the cutting and gluing of the foam costumes! The sky is the limit in deciding what the Bears can be for Halloween...
